Font designing was a part of 'corporate identity' course in which we had to design our own font taking inspiration from anywhere. This was one of the most exciting courses for me because this was the first time I tried to design my own font, which is one of my dreams. Both the font projects are in progress.
I have named this sans-serif font as 'Katana slash', inspired from the slash of the sword. Katana is a traditionally handmade Japanese sword which were used by the Samurai during combats.



The font below is a thin, modern, simplified, clean, linear sans-serif font. The inspiration was from the basic shapes - square and circle.
